- Obituary, Lancaster Times 4/1904:
- On Monday, April 4th, 1904, Balthasar Nichter died at his home
on Strauss Street, in Buffalo, aged 62 years 5 months and 7 days.
He left surviving him, his wife Anna M. Nichter (nee Nuwer) and nine
children. The funeral was held in Buffalo Wednesday afternoon and
the interment was made in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lancaster.

Florence Teufel and Eleanor Hoeh; also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Kenneth
Howe Funeral Home, Inc., 64 Maple St., East Aurora, NY and where prayer
services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery,
flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the East Aurora
Fire Department.
