My father, William E. Smith, wrote these sheets in 1981 and updated them in 1987. I have a photocopies of them among my records. They document many families related to the Smiths, Meskers, and Schneiders, including his ancestors, cousins, and second cousins. I believe the main sources of information were his personal recollection, documents from his mother, and correspondence from his Uncle Joe Mesker and his cousins.
