This is not possible.
While Martin FISCHER and Marie Anne ARMBRUSTER

Joseph ARMBRUSTER and Marie Anne RUFF
were living in Villé, France,
with three children born to them during the same years.

OBITUARY -- MR. F. J. JOST
Mr. Francis Joseph Jost, one of Buffalo's old-
est residents, died yesterday. He was nearly
seventy-one years of age, having been born
February 29, 1808, in Reschwoog Canton
Reischweiler, Department of Strasbourg, Al-
sace, France. He came to Buffalo in 1836 and
has resided here ever since. He was the oldest
brewer in the city, having entered into
the business with his stepfather, the late Igna-
tius Friedman, the premises occupied by them
being the present site of St. Mark's German
Lutheran Church, on Oak Street near Tupper.
They were together until 1849. In 1850 he
erected the brewery situated on the corner of
Pratt street and Broadway, and carried on the
business until 1867 when he was succeeded by
his son the late F. J. Jost, Jr., and
resumed it again upon the death
of that gentleman in April, 1877. On
November 10th, 1840, he was united in mar-
riage with Attala Mossack, who bore him eight
children -- three sons and five daughters. The
deceased is survived by his wife and two grand-
children -- one a son of the late F. J. Jost, Jr.;
and the other the daughter of Mr. Edward Kretz.
The funeral will take place next Tuesday from
the residence No. 247 Pratt street, the services
to be held at St. Louis Church at 9 A.M.
