Regarding the year of death for Margaret Goetz, "mil sept cent quatre vingt quatorze," which I have translated as "1794." Literally, it translates from the French as "one thousand seven hundred four twenty fourteen." The "four twenty fourteen" refers to "four twenties plus fourteen," i.e., 94. This is similar to older custom of counting years in English in twenty-year blocks, as in the familiar "four score and seven years ago," which means 87 years ago.
