- I do not believe these are the Michel and Joseph from this Keffenach family. The reason is, the Michel and George on the ship Hector in 1847 are almost certainly from this Keffenach family, because they appear on that passenger list with a number of other people from Keffenach. If Michel went to America in 1847, it seems unlikely he repeated the voyage in 1849. And if the Michel REICHERT on the 1849 Peter Marcy is a different man with the same name, then the Joseph REICHERT on that ship is probably also a different person.
