John Gragg of North Carolina, my great-great-great-grandfather. The woman seated next to him might be Martisha, who is listed as his wife in the 1880 census, and whom I presume is his second wife.
This photograph belonged to John's great-granddaughter, Leola Smith Chrysler. The original of the photo is currently in my possession.
