The wedding picture of Mary Balthasar to Martin Haentges (or Hentches). They married in 1881 at St. Francis Xavier Church in the Black Rock district of Buffalo. Mary Balthasar (born 1861) is the daughter of Henry Balthasar and Regina Heintz.
Although my grandmother, Josephine Voegele Staebell, believed this photo to be of Martin and Mary, she was not entirely certain. However, in Jan-2013 I received another photo of this couple from their great-great-granddaughter, Amber Hahn. Comparing the two photos, Amber is convinced that these are the same people, and I agree.
