Anna Balthasar is on the right. The man on the left is unidentified. The two of them were the best man and maid of honor together at a wedding.
According to the records of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Lancaster, Anna was the maid of honor at the 1888 wedding of her sister Mary to John Maute. The church records identify Albert Maute as the best man at that wedding. Therefore, if this photograph is from John and Mary Maute's wedding, then the seated man is Albert Maute.
