January 31, 2005, beloved wife of the late Frank M. Staebell; dearest mother of Donna (Gerald Jr.) Sansone; loving grandmother of Marc (Cherie) Sansone and Cheryl (Thomas) Wanderlich; dear sister of Dorothy (Salvatore) Baldi, George Burst and the late Robert, Anthony, Edward and Fritz Burst; also survived by several nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 4125 Union Rd., Cheektowaga. STAEBELL - Marion, school cafeteria manager

Marion Staebell of Cheektowaga, a former cafeteria manager for the Maryvale School District, died Monday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a brief illness. She was 91.

Born Marion Burst in Buffalo, she was a graduate of Our Lady Help of Christians School. She worked as cafeteria manager in the Maryvale School District's primary school from 1959 until 1975, when she retired.

Mrs. Staebell was a founding member of Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel's Parents Guild and a member of the church's Christian Mothers Society. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.

Her husband, Frank M., died in 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Sansone of Cheektowaga; a sister, Dorothy Baldi of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a brother, George Burst of Depew; and two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 4125 Union Road, Cheektowaga. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
