Catherine Schenck (1829-1883) is the wife of John Staebell (1829-1893). She and her husband came to America with most of their children in 1883. Catherine became ill and died on 26-Dec-1883, a few days after reaching New York harbor. She was buried on 28-Dec-1883 in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Alden, New York.
