According to his army discharge document, Bill served from 1920 to 1923. Other than what is written on these photographs, I have no evidence whether he served during World War I, which ended in 1918. Perhaps the 1920-1923 enlistment was his second enlistment.

These photographs belonged to Bill's sister, Leola Smith Chrysler. The originals of the photos are currently in my possession.
